'Reusable blotting papers'—yes, they’re a thing. The innovators behind online store Beautyblender have now launched a new make-up gizmo—one that does the job of a blotter in the body of a sponge.
Blotterazzi, as they're calling it, is equal parts blotting paper and sponge—so you can refresh and retouch all at once. The tool lets you blend in your products seamlessly with two pink sponges that come in a mirrored compact. Each sponge will last you 60 days—which means four months of no replacement and endless blotting. It’s no surprise that this new invention comes from the site that revolutionalised the importance of make-up brushes by dedicating themselves to the tool.
What’s the fuss about?
Unlike blotting paper, the shape of the sponge lets you reach the contours of your face, and even harder-to-reach spaces like the inner corners of your eyes. Its texture also absorbs excess oil without spoiling your make-up.
