Let's just put it out there: Rani Mukerji's wardrobe has a never-ending love affair with Sabyasachi. We know Sridevi and Vidya Balan love their fair share of the designer's clothes, but Vogue India's August cover star absolutely adores his work. Be it an award show, a movie premiere, or just a day out—Mukerji has a Sabyasachi ensemble for every occasion.
You can't blame the star. She may have cheated on her staple of saris and salwars for dresses (a midnight Donna Karan gown in 2011, a molten number by the same name in 2013), those kohled amber eyes and lustrous locks have always been best complemented with ethnic ensembles.
What's changed over the years? After Mukerji's much-discussed secret wedding to Bollywood producer Aditya Chopra in 2014, the star’s style has only made a turn for the better. Some of her strongest looks in recent times include: a black Burberry sheath dress, a summery pink Henry Holland look—but always, those royal, romantic Sabyasachis.
