What’s in a name? Or a number for that matter. Case in point: age, and people’s obsession with it.
Are you a 40-year-old child by heart? Or a zen grandpa waiting to grow into your age? Skincare brand Kiehl’s wants to change the idea of how humans define their life through a number. With their super adorable digital campaign, they bring together real people of all ages to come out and reveal how old do they actually feel.
Titled #ActAnyAge, the film is directed by Dan Sully and set to the pumped up beats of And the Beat Goes On by Anna Ihlis.
Call it what you wanna call it
Second age, real age—call it what you wanna call it, these men, women and kids through the medium of dance express how “young” or “old” they really feel. "When we were building this, we said things like 'we hope that it will motivate the 15-year-old budding entrepreneur to start a company, the 40-year-old to get out and dance at that club, or a 60-year-old to train for that triathlon,” explains Kiehl’s’ general manager worldwide, Cheryl Vitali.
Rightly so; it evokes a sense of joy when you watch jolly old Robert getting jiggy with it in the video. He believes that you may get older, but there’s a spirit in you that never changes—he swims, he dances, he rides but most importantly, keeps his spirit alive that makes him feel younger than ever.
Watch the film and get inspired to feel good and free in your own skin, no matter what age group you belong to.
