Keeping in mind Rohit Bal’s couture week 2015 theme, Husn-e-Taa’iraat (beauty of a bird), MAC’s director of make-up artistry, Mickey Contractor, kept the look elegant and intense: high shine nude lips paired with a stark smoky eye.
Vogue shows you how to do it right:
1. Prep your skin with Fix+, an aqua-spritz of vitamin and minerals, then apply the Studio Moisture Cream for a healthy radiance.
2. Correct and Conceal using the Pro Conceal and Correct Palette.
3. Use the Shadester Sculpting Powder to contour the cheeks.
4. Use the Naked Pigment for a wash of colour. Then, dab a little Gingerly Blush.
5. Apply Hush Cream Color Base on the eyelids for a sheer base.
6. Create a smokey eye using Blacktrack Fluidline Eyeliner Gel, Folie and Carbon Eyeshadow.
7. Use Lash No.7 and coat lashes with the Haute & Naughty Mascara for added drama
8. Apply the Hush Cream Color Base on the cheeks followed by the Vegas Volt Lipstick
9. Line the lips with Stripdown Lip Pencil and fill them in Hyper-Fabulous Vamplify Lip Lacquer.
