Prada has a virtual runway

Prada

If sunglasses make you go weak in the knees, you will want to own these new styles by Prada that are walking the virtual runways of the Prada-verse.

To take the launch of the sunglasses up a notch, the brand has launched Prada Raw Avenue—an eyewear project inspired by the collection that reveals a virtual catwalk where international illustrators with diverse styles, narrate their personal visions of the eyewear project through drawings and animations.

The six illustrators - Vida Vega, Wong Ping, Blair Brietenstein, Carly Kuhn, Judith Van Den Hoek and Megan Hess have each created a distinct Prada woman who steps out in her shades. Made using black walnut and 'Malabar' ebony wood, these sunglasses offer a unique take on the popular Prada designs. You can see the project and learn more about the artists here.

The Prada Raw wooden sunglasses are available for purchase here.
