Eva Green has been signed by L'Oréal Professionnel as the brand's new international spokesperson. The actress - perhaps best known for her role as Bond Girl Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale - will be the face of the brand's 2015 launches.
"As an actress, hair is so important. You need a very good relationship with your hairdresser and together we create the hairstyles. My hairdresser uses, of course, the leader of hair products, L'Oréal Professionnel. I am very glad to be on board on this new adventure," Green said in a statement.
This year, Green - who appeared on the cover of Vogue's January 2008 issue - will begin shooting Tim Burton's new film, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, as well as reprising her role in American television series Penny Dreadful, in which she stars alongside Josh Hartnett.
"We have chosen Eva Green because she perfectly embodies our values: She is extremely sensitive to fashion trends and counts on the expertise of hairdressers, both on and off screen," said Anne-Laure Lecerf, International Managing Director at L'Oréal Professionnel. "Her beauty, modernity and personal appeal captivate. I am convinced that Eva Green will be an amazing advantage for L'Oréal Professionnel."
Green will be the new face for the strategic 2015 launches, including Wet Domination by Tecni.ART; this styling range will be available in L'Oréal Professionnel hair salons from from June 2015.
