Culture fix: Your guide to a Vogue weekend

Every week, Vogue gives you a cultural calendar comprising the best of music, art, photography, food and fashion.

This week, theatre lovers in Delhi can enjoy John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men and Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice—and no matter where you are, you can attend an online sale of MF Hussain's most famous serigraphs.

Watch Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men

Originally a masterpiece novella written by Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck, now directed by Anna D. Shapiro, and starring James Franco and Chris O'Dowd, this National Theatre production comes to cine-audiences in India—and across the world.

Meet the bard in a casino

Watch a 21st century rendition of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice by Aadyam theatre initiative—a classic tale of love, revenge and justice—set in a casino, with mafia and money.

Listen to Peter Cat Recording Co

Each member of Peter Cat Recording Co assumes a different personality—all equally at ease—whether they're playing music resembling that was used in '70s Bollywood car chase scenes or sub continental disco. Stop by Blue Frog to witness a unique musical narrative by this Delhi-based group, one includes the genres of jazz and gypsy alike.

Attend a film screening

Japanese director Shohei Imamura's, A Man Vanishes, is a 1967 subversive film that blurs the boundaries between fact and fiction. Madhushree Dutta, filmmaker and founder and executive director of Majlis, will conduct a discussion after the film screening.

Jazz it up with Ezio
