NCPA's Cheer! Comedy Theatre Festival serves up a platter full of laughter this weekend—from comic plays to stand-up acts (including comedienne Radhika Vaz) and workshops for kids—rest assured, you're going to be laughing out loud.

Tune into 'A State of Trance'
'Emperor of Trance' Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren brings his celebrated radio show 'A State of Trance 700' to Mumbai on June 6—and we hear it's the only show in Asia. With a Grammy nomination to his name, he's sure to shake up your gig night this weekend.

Smell the sights of 'The Black Tulip'
Dutch-based artist Lita Cabellut's exhibition 'The Black Tulip'—her first in India—named after the 18th century rare flower features a series of portraits that celebrate the Dutch Golden Age. The exhibition opens at Mumbai's CSMVS museum this weekend and travels to Delhi in September.

Sing-along with Lucky Ali
Singer Lucky Ali first stepped into the Bollywood music scene in the late '90s. Now with a dozen films to his credit, the singer of "O Sanam" fame takes his melodious tunes to stage. Singer-songwriter Pratyul Joshi will play the opening act.

Paint the city orange
From Holland to Mumbai, this on-going festival gives you the full Dutch cultural experience without having to leave the country. Think everything from stroopwafels (at Foodhall, Palladium Mall) to klompen (wooden clog) making workshops at a makeshift "Holland Village" at Cross Maidan. There's even a Dutch film festival at NCPA.

Watch Italian history unravel
Can't make it to the British capital this summer? 'Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum,' an exhibition from the British Museum, travels to multiple cities in India for a week-long cinematic event—introduced by museum director Neil MacGregor.

Brace yourselves: Tabula Rasa returns as TabulaBeach Café this weekend—and turns out, the name isn’t the only transformation it's undergone. The pop-up restaurant and lounge—slated to host comedy and karaoke nights, flea markets and exhibitions, and food and drink—will take up residence for seven months until New Year's Eve this year.

Travel through Trace(s)
Three photographers, Ioulia Chevtsova, Marie Langlest and Alan Rubin, showcase their documented travels in an exhibition titled 'Trace(s),' which deals with time, memory and place, while capturing the streets and sights of Old Delhi, among other cities.

Watch Márquez magical realism come alive
Improper Fractions have collaborated with Instituto Cervantes to stage a theatrical adaptation of the novella Chronicle of a Death Foretold, by late Colombian novelist, Gabriel García Márquez. Both, directed and performed by Manjari Kaul, we can't wait to witness this murder.
