13 Gaurav Gupta dresses Bollywood loves

Vogue

After the likes of Anamika Khanna, Rajesh Pratap Singh and Pankaj & Nidhi, couturier Gaurav Gupta has been confirmed as the grand finale designer for Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015.

Judging by his creations in the past, we expect this show to be deliciously dark—sheets of molten metallic fabrics, optical illusion ensembles and sari-gown hybrids.

Gupta's gothic glam aesthetic has many fans among Bollywood's ladies. Some of the most recent spottings: Lisa Haydon in an ivory and gold number at IIFA 2015, Kriti Sanon in a black gown at this year's Star Guild Awards and Tabu in a filigree overcoat at a recent party. Going a little further back, Deepika Padukone's gold gown at 2014's Filmfare Awards was a risque look, but it’s one Gaurav Gupta ensemble that's still on our minds.
