Inside Dior's Fall 2015 Haute Couture show

Dior

The Musée Rodin
Creative Director Dior- Raf Simons chose the Musée Rodin as the venue for his Fall 2015 Haute Couture. He has described the scaffolding-like set (in the garden of the museum) as part church, part garden, part Ibiza nightclub. The stain glass backdrop inspired by pointillism was further highlighted by the purple carpet.

The Collection
Simons does what he always does best; commercial wearable pieces. The models walked in stylized versions of the iconic Bar silhouette with a splash of Dior fairy tale. The dramatic sleeves, the flared bottoms, the oversized coats and the micro floral print has been applied distinctively throughout the collection.

The Front Row
Seen at the show were Dior fans Lupita Nyong'o, Emily Blunt and supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Daria Strokous and Natalia Vodianova.
