The party moved from Cannes to Antibes for the annual amfAR Cinema against AIDS Gala. Started by the be all and end all of glamour, Elizabeth Taylor, the event never fails a good turnout. Dressed to the nines—minus the formality of the Cannes red carpet—the supporters showed up in more risqué versions of their favoured labels this year.
The supers were unmissable at the event. Kendall Jenner in Calvin Klein (she's had a winning streak in his collections), Gigi Hadid in an all-out white Tom Ford, and Joan Smalls in a sheer-panelled black Givenchy—all added the necessary oomph to the party. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Eva Longoria and Marion Cotillard picked demure yet slightly relaxed ensembles for the evening.
The music for the night might seem miss-matched at first, but in hindsight, a perfect mix for the guests—Andrea Bocelli, DJ Mark Ronson and American rock band Imagine Dragons provided entertainment for the night.
This was a night redolent of the Fitzgerald times, to say the least.
