Every week, Vogue gives you a cultural calendar comprising the best of music, art, photography, food and fashion.

This weekend, beat the Mumbai heat by sipping on handcrafted beers, turn to the capital for your dose of photography, and catch up on the jazz era in Bengaluru.

Read on for what made it to Vogue's list of all things cultural this week.

Tune up your vocal chords

If you're in Bengaluru…

Keep an ear out for 'confused pop'

Start your weekend on a musical note with Delhi-based Hindi pop-rock band: Faridkot. Often synonymous with the 'confused pop' genre, their music is an interesting blend of blues guitars and harmonic melodies punctuated with a thumping percussion and bass.

When: May 29
Where: The Humming Tree, Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Find out more.

Jazz it up with William Galison's quartet

American jazz musician, William Galison's music is closer to your childhood than you think (you may remember his harmonica tunes from Sesame Street.) Now, the Jazz Theatre at Windmills Craftworks is playing host to his quartet and we're already in-tune with their rhythms and melodies.
When: May 29 and 30
Where: Windmills Craftworks, Whitefield, Bengaluru. Read more.

If you're in Mumbai…

Drink up at a craft beer festival

Picture this: You're lounging on a bean bag at Aqaba's rooftop lawn with a chilled beer in hand, the bustle of live tunes and food-stations fills the background, and the sun's shining upon you—can you picture it, yet? Forgive the pun, but we can't think of a more chilled out weekend.

When: Saturday, May 30. 1 pm onwards
Where: Aqaba, Peninsula Business Park, Mumbai. Book here.

Sea (your) food and eat it too

Can't hit Goa beaches this year and feel like you're missing out on the delicious seafood? Trekurious launches The Goa Series, a chain of pop-up restaurants in the city that cater to those smoky barbecue cravings. House of Lloyds kick starts the festival at Please Don't Tell this weekend—and we're already hungry!

When: May 29 and 30. 8 pm onwards
Where: Kamala Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai. Reserve here.

Turn the potter's wheel

This weekend, Bandra will host the second edition of the Studio Potter's Market, a curated event featuring potters and clay artists. Not only can you browse through their showcased earthenware, stoneware and porcelain pots, but also get your hands dirty and take home a hand-crafted pot!

When: May 30 and 31, 11am to 8pm
Where: At Vintage Garden, Patkar Bungalow, 34D, Turner Road, Bandra West, Mumbai
