Just before the start of the season, Tommy Bahama has extended its association with Major League Baseball. The apparel manufacturer has added a San Francisco Giants 2014 World Series Championship shirt to the mix, as well as an expanded assortment of Collector’s Edition shirts and a collection of premium sportswear for all 30 teams. The Giants shirts are offered in two styles: a classic panel-back camp shirt for $158 and a half-zip sweatshirt for $148. The Collector’s Edition camp shirts for this season are the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers in addition to the Giants. Each features artwork that wraps around the shirt, and includes the team name, logo and significant landmarks important to each team. They will retail for $250. The sportswear offering includes MLB team shirts for the St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs that will retail for $158, as well as other select items unrelated to specific teams but with a baseball theme. Tommy Bahama launched its first MLB collection in 2009 around the World Series.
