Who made your clothes?

Two years ago, on the 24th of April, the world first opened eyes to the plight of the workers trapped in the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Bangladesh. In order to draw attention to the scale at which some aspects of the fashion industry compromise on their resources to meet consumer demands at affordable rates, a global advisory committee started the Fashion Revolution.

The aim of this revolution is to provide clarity on the inner workings of the garment industry. Models, designers, consumers and members of assembly chains in factories are raising questions to find out what essentially went into the creation of the garment you are currently wearing. The global resolve is to sustainably source, create and produce without endangering resources.
