FlashFunders, the online equity funding platform that began operations in October, has closed a major round of funding for The Influential Network at $1.5 million. The Influential Network represents the largest deal to close on FlashFunders. According to an individual familiar with the deal, there were 23 investors with a large number from Australia. The minimum investment started at $25,000. The Influential Network, a platform for publishers by publishers, helps to foster the connection between brands, agencies and events to activate influencers via messaging that is opt-in on an iOS app. FlashFunders was cofounded by Europlay Capital Advisers, law firm Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, Vincent Bradley and Brian Park.
