What's the best swimsuit label for your body type?

Summer is officially here and we can't think of anything more inviting than trading our boyfriend jeans for barely-there bikinis (pop colours are winning this season!) But for all you waters babies who are still in a fix over what to wear to that poolside date, fret not.

Vogue decided to go swimsuit scouting while you were perfecting that beach bod.

Petite

Add some curves to your frame with ruffles, prints and padding. String bikins should be high up on your list as well.
Label Love: Marysia for their scalloped stunners, Bantu Wax for a riot of prints and patterns and Kiini for their reimagined crochet numbers.

Pear-shaped

A skirted bottom (avoid boy shorts, especially ones with thick bands) and plunging necklines will help balance proportions.
Label Love: Mara Hoffman for their sheer variety, Mikoh for making waves with playful necklines and and Giejo for figure flattering separates.

Apple-shaped

Take away attention from your tummy troubles with strategic side cutouts and ruching or hipster bottoms.
Label Love: Elizabeth Hurley's range for styles that are tailor-made for you, The Closet Label for their understanding of the Indian body type and Flag Pole Swim for designs that spell love-at-first-sight.

Athletic

Itsy bitsy bikinis and trikins are what you need to flaunt your 10/10 body.
Label Love: Shivan and Narresh for their unabashedly bold designs, Turquoise & Gold for seriously sexy scorchers, Zulu & Zephyr for their monochrome palette and Solid & Striped for spoiling us with endless stripes!

Curvy

Make the most of your curves and opt for a plunging neckline or diagonal colour blocking across your torso.
Label Love: Hackwith Design House for keeping curves in mind, Lisa Marie Fernandez for a luxe and form-forgiving take on neoprene and Tara Grinna for being inclusive of all sizes.
