Culture fix: Your guide to the Vogue weekend

Every week Vogue gives you a cultural calendar comprising the best of music, art, photography, food and fashion that may just be your respite from the heat.

Surendran Nair's solo at Sakshi Gallery in Mumbai, Craig Wright's play hitting the stage in Bengaluru, a multi-cuisine community dining experience in Chennai and EDM star Markus Schulz's multi-city tour in India are among the highlights from this week.

Travel the world on a community table

See 'The Unseen' this weekend
A darkly humorous play by American playwright Craig Wright, this is the story of Wallace and Valdez holding their faith against a totalitarian regime infused with crime.

If you're in Mumbai...

Play the 'Games People Play' by Thukral and Tagra
Think Night at the Museum but by day—and for 100 days. The artist duo insert "real life into the static spaces of Bhau Daji Lad Museum by erecting a life-size glass cabinet". There are also interactive activities to keep you busy—from reciting poetry while weightlifting to texting while cycling.

See painter Surendran Nair's solo show
Known for his exploration of mythology in a modern-day context, Nair returns with 'Spatial Arrangements of Colours, Lines, Forms and Desires,' a project he has worked on for four years. Ongoing at Sakshi Gallery through May, the Vadodara-based painter's series gives you an insight into his interpretation of kathakali traditions.
