Nest Fragrances to Launch Verde

A departure from its sensual and evocative scents, Nest Fragrances latest launch, Verde, which will be released this month exclusively at Sephora as a part of its Fine Fragrance Collection, is rooted deep within the earth. “Verde is a purely crisp, fresh, green fragrance,” said Laura Slatkin, founder and executive chairman at Nest Fragrances. “The notes are all blended together to make this very natural botanical essence.” The modern fougère fragrance, which was created by Jérôme Epinette of Robertet, fuses wild fern, Himalayan cedar, verbena leaves and vetiver. Housed in bottles inspired by fine botanical artwork, Verde retails for $68 and will be sold with an accompanying $25 roller ball. Meanwhile, Verde will mark Nest’s fifth scent exclusive to Sephora and eighth in the Fine Fragrance Collection. Plus, Slatkin is looking to rev up the brand’s distribution. “We’re continuing to focus on the U.S. and grow that business, but we’ve also strategically expanded to Canada, where we’ve had overnight success,” she noted. “We’re having conversations with Sephora’s other international locations. We most likely will do that in over the next six to 18 months.” She added that the company is still looking for the perfect location for a stand-alone store. “We’re not in a rush,” said
