Marina Rinaldi Taps Amy Arbus for Fall Campaign

WEATHER GIRL: American photographer Amy Arbus encountered almost every kind of weather last December when Marina Rinaldi commissioned her for a special shoot of its fall 2015 collection in Central Park. “We were rained out one day because there were 40 mile-an-hour winds. We also had a snow day. It was a real potpourri,” she related. The images, showing real-people models and plus-size women cast from the street, are to eventually go on display in New York after earlier being on show during Milan Fashion Week. Arbus, daughter of photographer Diane Arbus, is known for her posed and portrait-like street photography, and her style page in the Village Voice in the Eighties.
