Vince Opens Showroom in Paris

Vince is looking to the European market for aggressive expansion. On Thursday, the company opened its first international office and showroom in Paris, coinciding with Paris Fashion Week. Located at 11 Rue Saint-Florentin in the 8th arrondissement, the space will showcase the women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and footwear collections, as well as the newly launched handbag line. “Creating a meaningful European presence is vital to our strategy of further developing the Vince business in key world markets,” said Jill Granoff, chairman and chief executive officer of Vince. The brand is actively expanding its European presence. The company recently entered into an agent agreement with Room Twelve for Germany and Austria. This year, the firm will open a women’s dedicated shop at Printemps in Paris, and expects to launch its women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories at Selfridges in London. Karin Gregersen, president and chief creative officer, said, “Looking ahead, our goal is to create a broad international customer base, with a focus on Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We view Paris as a fashion hub within Europe, and our new office and showroom will provide the international visibility we need to accelerate our growth globally.”
