ALL FOR TIBET: New York’s Trace Foundation, founded in 1993 and dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Tibetan culture and language, is kicking off the first Fashion for Tibet initiative later this month. Fashion houses such as Costume National, Moncler, Etro, Diesel, Giulietta and Tory Burch have signed on to contribute a customized, Tibet-themed product to be auctioned off April 9 by Sothebys and Paddle8; an online auction will debut March 26. Proceeds from the auction will assist the Trace Foundation in its mission to support Tibetan communities and ensure their self-sufficiency.
